Visiting a new church can sometimes feel intimidating. We want to answer some of your questions in advance so you will feel more comfortable and welcome when you visit.
We gather weekly on Sunday mornings at 10:00am in Hayfield Secondary School, located in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria. Our church services are casual in style and includes worship through music, a sermon by our pastor, and weekly communion. Children’s ministry is available through 5th grade. We conclude around 11:15am.
We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early to visit our Guest Services table, allow time for child check-in, and join us for free coffee in the lobby.
Please enter Hayfield Secondary School through the opposite side at Entrance 9 (Kiss and Ride side). You may access Entrance 9 from Old Telegraph Road or by simply driving around the school until you see our church signs and banners. Guest Services volunteers will be waiting to greet you and point you in the right direction.
Our expression of worship through music is a mixture of contemporary songs and hymns that reflect truths of the Bible and centers on the glory of God.
The weekly messages are taught from the Bible and center on the Person and work of Jesus Christ. Our sermon series are usually books of the Bible.
As the message portion of our service concludes, our pastor will lead the church in responding through prayer, a song, and taking communion.
Communion is an important time to reflect upon the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf. We take communion together every week as a church family and invite guests who are followers of Jesus to also partake with us.
